Former Manchester United Captain, Wayne Rooney has been given an ultimatum by his wife, Coleen Rooney, to severe the friendship ties he has with former teammate, Wes Brown.
The pregnant mother of three posted a picture of herself and two of her kids having fun at Blackpool, but was without her wedding ring.
Wayne Rooney has been battling to save his marriage after he was convicted for drunk driving in a VW Beetle belonging to Laura Simpson, a mother of one who he met at a club.
Rooney is believed to have been in the company of former teammate, Wes Brown at the time of his arrest.
Coleen Rooney believes that Wes Brown has been a bad influence to her husband and urged Rooney to part ways with him in order to keep their marriage. Brown was with Rooney when he lost £500,000 gambling at a casino in May. Coleen has reportedly cautioned Rooney against gambling on several occasions.
Rooney pleaded guilty to drunk driving on September 18, at the Stockport Magistrate Court. He was banned from driving for two years and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid community work.
However, the Everton player has been making frantic moves to preserve his marriage as he has been taking his wife on private outings and dates all in a bid to win her over.
Rooney trained with Everton on Monday with a tear above his eye following a match with Bournemouth. He was substituted in the second half after getting caught in the elbow of Simon Francis.
Everton plays Apollon Limasol in the Europa League on Thursday.
